Simple Stereo multimode filter for Mod2
using midi control from Mod1
to overcome the issue of assigning
1 ccr to 2 destinations.

(if anyone knows a better
way round this, please tell).

old post., but....

the midi control module in mod1 looks exactly like what is called the constant value module in mod2.

hey no prob.

reading yer post here gave me a good idea to pursue using 2-3 constant value modules to control LOTS of mod inputs to simulate our want of "morph groups".

toss in my idea on range limiting (which uses contstant value modules) and Whammo! i think it should be cool, kinda burned out on mod patch creating though.

I wish mod 2 had some stereo filter modules

just a thought.

hi topaz,

because of space constraints, or linking of controls?

i've found the keyf input to work pretty good for linking up mulitple filters (for e.g. 4 filters in a stereo configuration). i thought i figured out how it worked on norml mod signals but i forget now.

what i do remember is that i couldn't go over +-80 depth value, or else the incoming mod signal would clip its value on the upper range of mod values.

made a big multifx patch with 4 filters in a stereo configuration (2 serially linked on each side....24db lp, 24db hp) and it sounded suprisingly nice. the stereoizing effect of tweaking all 4 filters in unison with differing mod values on the keyf mod input.
