This year at NAMM, Sonic Core put on a show the envy of all.  Not just their hardware and software, but live performers showcased their talents as well.  Of course, the entire show was mixed and engineered using a single XITE-1, and a taste of upcoming new Scope related technologies were on show.  These included Open Scope, Scope 6 and ParseQ.

In terms of Scope usage there's no freedom like mobility, and the XITE-1 has this in spades.  Tau outlines how he traveled to a UK studio armed all his Scope synthesizers in the XITE-1 and MacBook Pro weighing in to the airport checkout at under six kilograms.

Instrumental composers such as Yiannis Kapoulas and Faxi Nadu benefit from Scope in spades, and both have new releases produced on Scope, reviewed here in depth both musically and in terms of production values and use of the Scope platform

This month is Electro month, with Faxi Nadu, Shayart and LiquidEdge revealing tricks and techniques (as well as sources of inspiration) all made easy with the Scope platform including a piece on combining Scope and Native plug-ins by yours truly.

As a follow up on last month's DAS F07 review, we look at the DAS DynEP and Electric Piano 73 both included within the DAS FM bundle and providing a quick, easy low DSP solution for adding a touch of a classic electric piano class into your mix.

Then finally this month is a brief look at the latest Scope SDK allowing developers to build new devices on the Windows 7 platform.

Scope is a natural choice for producers of electronic genres. Shayart, LiquidEdge and Dante demo electro techniques and tracks.   Check out the latest new website from the Scope user community. Psy-works is a site dedicated to reviews of free Scope plug-ins.

A show of live performances usher in an era of new upcoming Scope technologies at this years NAMM show in Anaheim California.

DAS do dynamic Rhodes!  A couple of lightweight electric piano devices that can be quickly set up to give a great sound.   There's no sonic replacement for Scope synths, but with XITE-1 you can bring them with you. Tau relates his mobile experience.   Since every day could be your last, treat the ability to make music as a precious gift.  FaxiNadu turns his dreams into sonic reality.

The Scope SDK is the primary tool used by Scope device developers.  Here's a quick walk through on starting with the latest SDK.
